We hope you are enjoying the first week of June, and that you’re getting some nice weather where you are! The pool is finally open here, and we are enjoying alternating afternoons off to spend time soakin’ up some rays and watching the kiddos play in the pool!

We have spent the past few months working on our Do It Yourself Items to make constructing your own furniture fast, easy and affordable! Our newest additions are the gussets! Some people don’t know how important gussets truly are! We’ve had questions wondering if they really help a project out, and we’re here to tell you that YES THEY DO! Gussets are great for stability in your project, making sure you have the perfect piece that will last.
We all know that first, you need the table top – so pick out your favorite slab in the Live Edge Section! If it were me, I would be picking out a highly figured Black Walnut live edge slab with a few unique bark inclusions to really make the table top pop. Once you’ve picked out your top, be sure to look through our Legs Section to pick out the perfect pair of legs to attach. We have a variety of live edge table legs along with square 3×3 and 4×4 table legs. Coming soon, we have some metal legs in a variety of shapes, sizes and styles! Now comes the spot that most of us would over look: the gussets. These guys are pretty important! Gussets will make or break your project – literally. By using gussets, you will add plenty of support to your table top and legs, so once you’ve put it all together, you have a secured table/bench ready to catch the eye of anyone coming in the room!
Now that we’ve quickly gone over all you need, here comes the fun part! We encourage you to craft your own pieces and send us pictures so we can see the awesome stuff that’s made with our project!
