Check this out! One of our newest projects is custom made Black Walnut table top sets! These sets are made from highly figured Black Walnut slabs, jointed and biscuited together to create the perfect table top. Since they are custom made, there is a two week wait time, in which we will work hard to make sure it’s the perfect piece for you.
In the picture, you can see we don’t use mineral spirits. This is because the table tops are already super flat and smooth, perfect to do the final sanding and varnishing. Check out the close up of all of that figure! You can see fiddleback, rat tail, curl and circle grain! This is going to be an awesome table top, and we can’t wait to see it varnished up!
Each of these table tops have been made with the highly figured Iowa Black Walnut to give a nice, rich chocolate colored table top. We can also make them in Black Cherry, Spalted Maple, Elm, Oak, Ash and more!
